Yoga Poses for a Tight Psoas – a major cause of back pain.

The Psoas is one of the most important muscles in the body, joining our torso to our legs and being the main muscle engaged in the ‘fight or flight’ stress response. As such, given our level of stress and tension in modern life, our psoas can become tight and contracted, without our even knowing, leading to back and hip problems and reinforcing our stress response.
